Proposal Manager

SAIC is looking for a highly experienced and qualified Proposal Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development of complex proposals and related activities to ensure timely and effective submission of responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other solicitations. To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of developing winning proposals in a timely manner while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent work experience. You should also have at least five years of experience in proposal writing and management, with a strong understanding of the RFP process, government contracting, and the ability to interpret and comply with solicitation requirements. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage the preparation of complex proposals and related activities in a timely and effective manner.
2. Ensure the accuracy and quality of all proposals and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs) and other solicitations.
3. Interpret and comply with solicitation requirements.
4. Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines.
6. Leverage a strong understanding of the RFP process and government contracting.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision.
8. Remain current on industry trends and best practices.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
10. Develop a deep understanding of SAIC’s products and services.
