- Analyze and manage program budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Provide financial guidance and support to program managers and other team members.
- Monitor and track budget execution, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute budget plans and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and policies related to program budgets.
- Conduct cost-benefit and risk analysis to inform budget decisions.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present budget reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in budget regulations and policies.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage program budgets.
- Participate in contract negotiations and contribute to the development of new business proposals.
- Support audits and other financial reviews as needed.
- Mentor and train junior budget analysts.
- Uphold SAIC's values and culture while representing the company to clients and partners.
- Contribute to the overall success of SAIC by actively participating in company initiatives and promoting a positive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Program Acquisition Budget Analysis, Preferably In A Government Contracting Environment.
Strong Understanding Of Federal Budgeting And Acquisition Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.
Experience With Financial Management Systems And Tools, Such As Costpoint And Deltek.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Financial Information To Non-Financial Stakeholders.
