  1. Develop and implement policies that align with SAIC's goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform policy recommendations and decisions.
  3. Collaborate with various teams and departments to gather information and perspectives on policy issues.
  4. Stay updated on current policies and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  5. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate policy proposals and updates to stakeholders.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and concerns and incorporate them into policy development.
  8. Participate in meetings and discussions with government officials and other stakeholders to advocate for SAIC's policy positions.
  9. Maintain a deep understanding of the political landscape and its potential impact on policy decisions.
  10. Continuously assess and anticipate potential risks and challenges related to policies and develop contingency plans as needed.
  11. Train and educate SAIC employees on new policies and procedures to ensure proper implementation and compliance.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to policy development and implementation.
  13. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure policies are in line with applicable laws and regulations.
  14. Uphold SAIC's values and ethical standards while carrying out policy-related tasks and responsibilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Policy Analyst At Saic Should Possess Excellent Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities To Analyze Complex Policy Issues And Provide Sound Recommendations.

  • Knowledge Of Policy Development Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Policy Development Processes At Both The Federal And Local Levels, Including Legislative, Regulatory, And Administrative Processes.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Policy Analyst, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Policy Information To Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Government Officials, And Team Members, Is Essential.

  • Research And Writing Abilities: Saic Requires A Policy Analyst With Exceptional Research And Writing Skills To Gather, Analyze, And Present Data In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Experience In Government Contracting: Saic Is A Government Contractor, And Familiarity With Government Contracting Procedures And Regulations Is Highly Desirable For This Position. Previous Experience In A Similar Role Within A Government Agency Or Consulting Firm Is Also A Plus.
