As a Remote Pilot Operator, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for our clients.   1. Develop and implement remote pilot training programs for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
  2. Ensure the highest standards of safety and accuracy in all remote pilot operations.
  3. Operate and monitor UAVs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of all FAA regulations and company policies related to remote pilot operations.
  5. Conduct pre-flight inspections and post-flight debriefings to ensure proper functioning of the UAV.
  6. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during operations.
  7. Keep accurate and detailed records of all remote pilot activities and flight logs.
  8. Continuously assess and improve remote pilot training programs to meet industry standards and client needs.
  9. Stay current with advancements in UAV technology and recommend updates or upgrades as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on remote pilot operations and address any concerns or issues.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, during remote pilot operations.
  12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the company during client interactions.
  13. Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
  14. Proactively identify and report any potential safety hazards or incidents to management.
  15. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure the successful integration of UAV technology into client projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Faa Remote Pilot Certificate: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Current Faa Remote Pilot Certificate, Indicating Their Proficiency In Flying Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (Suas). This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With All The Necessary Regulations And Safety Procedures Required For Flying Suas.

  • Experience With Suas Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Operating Suas, Preferably In A Commercial Or Military Setting. This Experience Should Include Planning And Executing Suas Missions, As Well As Maintaining And Troubleshooting The Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Airspace: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Faa Regulations Pertaining To Suas Operations, As Well As Knowledge Of Airspace And Flight Restrictions. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Ensuring The Safe And Legal Operation Of Suas.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Phl Remote Pilot Operator, The Candidate Will Be Required To Communicate With Other Team Members And Air Traffic Controllers. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Obtain Security Clearance: Saic Works With Government Clients, And As Such, All Employees Are Required To Obtain And Maintain The Appropriate Level Of Security Clearance. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Clean Background And Be Able To Pass A Thorough Background Check To Obtain The Necessary Clearance.
