
Occupational Health and Safety Manager

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with department managers to create and maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and develop strategies to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in OH&S regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Create and maintain safety records and reports for internal and external use.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all OH&S related inquiries and concerns.
- Work with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
- Lead and participate in safety committees and meetings to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and tools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations related to OH&S.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on health and safety-related issues.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and track OH&S metrics and provide reports to management.
- Serve as a role model for safety by adhering to all policies and procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Occupational Health And Safety Management.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Workplace Safety.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Effectively.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Communicate Safety Protocols.
