- Conduct digital forensics investigations for legal and criminal cases, including analyzing and recovering digital evidence from devices and networks.
- Utilize advanced forensic tools and techniques to extract and analyze data from various digital sources.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to gather and share information related to investigations.
- Document and maintain chain of custody for all evidence collected during investigations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital forensics tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to support legal and criminal cases.
- Prepare and present clear and concise reports detailing findings and conclusions.
- Work closely with other team members to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in digital forensics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in digital forensics and provide guidance to team members and colleagues.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards while handling digital evidence.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent requests for digital forensic analysis.
- Ensure all equipment and software used for digital forensic investigations is properly maintained and kept up-to-date.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures for digital forensic investigations.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Digital Forensics Or Related Field.
Knowledge And Experience With Industry Standard Digital Forensics Tools And Techniques.
Strong Understanding Of Computer Operating Systems, File Systems, And Network Protocols.
Certifications Such As Ence, Cfce, Or Gcfa Are Preferred.
