This critical role requires a highly organized and motivated individual who can manage and maintain our databases across multiple platforms. The Database Administrator will be an integral part of our IT team, helping to ensure the efficient functioning of our databases.The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong technical background and solid understanding of database structures, functions, and operations. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and the willingness to take on new challenges.The Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and maintaining all of SAIC’s databases. They will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the databases, as well as maintaining their performance and availability. The Database Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the databases.To be considered for this position, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB is preferred.
