Cybersecurity Analyst

At SAIC, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst who is passionate about protecting our data and technology from malicious attacks. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and an innate curiosity in the field of cybersecurity. We are looking for someone who is an independent thinker and can think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to protect our data and systems from cyber threats.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT and/or cybersecurity. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of network security and cybersecurity standards and best practices, as well as experience with security protocols and tools. The candidate should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain security protocols to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
2. Monitor and analyze networks for potential security vulnerabilities.
3. Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures.
4. Research and recommend new technologies to enhance security.
5. Investigate and respond to security incidents.
6. Monitor and document security threats, incidents, and remediation.
7. Troubleshoot security system issues and respond to inquiries.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security best practices are in place.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders.
10. Stay up to date on the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices.
