Cloud Architect

SAIC is looking for a Cloud Architect with the right combination of technical and business acumen to join our talented and diverse team! This position requires a highly motivated professional who is able to bring their expertise to bear on the design and implementation of our cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of cloud computing technologies, as well as a deep knowledge of principles, strategies, and best practices for cloud architecture. They will have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and will possess a strong understanding of database technologies, networking, and security. We are looking for a creative thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to changing customer needs. The Cloud Architect must be able to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing technologies• 5+ years of experience in architecture design and implementation• 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform• Working knowledge of networking, security, and database technologies• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

1. Design and implement cloud-based solutions to meet customer needs
2. Research and implement best practices in cloud architecture
3. Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
4. Develop strategies related to cloud networking, security, and database technologies
5. Provide technical and non-technical support to customers
6. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions
7. Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful implementation of cloud-based solutions
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud computing technologies and trends
