- Develop and deliver high-quality air traffic control training curriculum for new and current controllers.
- Utilize effective instructional techniques to engage and educate students.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry standards and regulations related to air traffic control.
- Create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to continuously improve training materials and methods.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting professionalism and safety in all aspects of air traffic control.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and training activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new training programs and initiatives.
- Stay current on technological advancements in air traffic control and incorporate them into training programs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the air traffic control training program.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and management regarding training progress and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Represent the organization and its values in a professional and positive manner.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Certified Air Traffic Controller.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, Or Related Field.
Experience In Teaching And/Or Developing Air Traffic Control Training Programs.
Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Procedures, And Ability To Adapt To Changing Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Ability To Effectively Instruct And Mentor Students.
