- Develop and implement training programs for air traffic control operations at Tampa International Airport (TPA).
- Create lesson plans and materials to effectively convey information to trainees.
- Conduct classroom and simulation training sessions for trainees.
- Provide hands-on instruction and guidance to trainees in a one-on-one or group setting.
- Monitor and evaluate trainees' progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Ensure training is in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in air traffic control procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve training programs.
- Provide support and assistance to trainees during on-the-job training at TPA.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of trainees' progress and performance.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with trainees, colleagues, and superiors.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for trainees.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for trainees, promoting safety, professionalism, and efficiency in air traffic control operations.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on company policies and procedures.
- Represent SAIC in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Certified Air Traffic Controller.
Bachelor's Degree In Aviation, Air Traffic Control, Or A Related Field.
Experience As A Trainer Or Instructor In An Air Traffic Control Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Faa Regulations And Procedures.
