Financial Operations Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Analyst at Sage. In this role, you will be responsible for performing data analysis and reporting financial results for the company.The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a knack for identifying areas in need of improvement. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to analyze and report financial data.
2. Analyze financial data to identify areas of improvement, including identifying trends and discrepancies.
3. Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
4. Prepare financial statements and reports based on GAAP principles.
5. Monitor and analyze financial operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
6. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
7. Prepare presentations and other materials for internal and external meetings.
8. Provide recommendations to senior management on ways to improve financial performance.
9. Assist in the preparation and review of the company’s annual budget.
10. Ensure financial records are accurate, properly maintained, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
