Job Description

Schedule and direct 24 hour on-call engineering support staff
Leads in the development, implementation, and managing of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and priorities in partnership with the department Director
Selects, trains, motivates, evaluates, and develops subordinate staff and ensures that department strategic objectives and priorities are achieved and coordinated with other departments.
Responsible for budget preparation and implementation; participate in the budget forecasting of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies; administer the approved budget.
Review, recommend and implement process improvements that lead to efficiencies, cost savings and/or improvement in our program and employee safety.
Lead and oversees department programs, projects and processes; assesses needs, assigns resources and ensures successful outcomes.

Job Qualifications

10+ years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
Support and understanding of Grid Modernization efforts, including distribution automation and ADMS/DERMS a plus
