  1. Develop and implement cloud strategies to support business objectives and drive innovation within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
  3. Continuously evaluate and improve existing cloud systems and processes to optimize performance, cost, and security.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology to ensure S&P Global remains at the forefront of the market.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in the cloud environment, providing timely resolutions and recommendations for future prevention.
  6. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of cloud projects.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  8. Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for the cloud environment.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  11. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all cloud operations.
  12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall performance and reliability of the cloud environment.
  13. Adapt to changing business needs and priorities, and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  14. Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud systems and services.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Cloud Engineering, With A Focus On Aws Or Azure.

  • Strong Understanding Of Infrastructure As Code And Experience With Automation Tools Like Terraform Or Cloudformation.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Ruby.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Issues In A Fast-Paced Environment.
