  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies for the Commodity Insights division of S&P Global.
  2. Lead and oversee a team of risk professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends and data to identify potential risks and opportunities for the Commodity Insights division.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all risk assessments and reports for the division.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners, to stay informed of market developments and potential risks.
  7. Conduct regular risk audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  8. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to commodity risk management and ensure compliance within the division.
  9. Communicate and present risk management strategies, updates, and reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve the risk management processes and procedures for the Commodity Insights division.

  • Risk Management Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Risk Management, Including Experience With Hedging Strategies, Derivatives, And Other Risk Mitigation Techniques.

  • Financial Analysis Skills: As A Key Member Of The Team Responsible For Providing Commodity Insights, The Divisional Risk Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Analysis Techniques And Be Able To Use Them To Identify Risks And Opportunities In Commodity Markets.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking: This Role Requires A Leader Who Can Create And Execute A Strategic Vision For The Division, While Also Managing A Team Of Analysts And Researchers. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Track Record Of Successful Leadership And Strategic Decision-Making.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Divisional Risk Director Will Work Closely With Various Departments Within S&P Global, As Well As With External Clients. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner Is Also Important.
