  8. Take ownership of data quality and ensure accuracy and consistency of data used for analysis.
  9. Participate in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and tools.
  10. Continuously identify opportunities to improve and streamline data analysis processes.
  11. Mentor and train junior team members on data analysis techniques and industry knowledge.
  12. Adhere to data privacy and security protocols to maintain confidentiality of data.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to access additional data sources and expand research capabilities.
  14. Participate in conferences and seminars to present research findings and represent the company in the automotive industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Background In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling: A Data Scientist In Automotive Research At S&P Global Should Have A Strong Foundation In Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling Techniques. They Should Be Able To Effectively Collect, Clean, And Analyze Large Datasets To Extract Valuable Insights And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Familiarity With Automotive Industry Trends And Data Sources: A Key Qualification For A Data Scientist In This Role Is A Deep Understanding Of The Automotive Industry And Its Current Trends. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In The Various Data Sources Available In This Industry, Such As Sales Data, Production Data, And Consumer Behavior Data.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: Data Scientists At S&P Global Should Possess Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql. They Should Also Be Familiar With Tools Such As Tableau, Power Bi, And Alteryx For Data Visualization And Analysis.

  • Experience With Machine Learning And Predictive Modeling: As The Automotive Industry Becomes More Data-Driven, It Is Crucial For A Data Scientist To Have Experience With Machine Learning And Predictive Modeling Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Algorithms Such As Regression, Decision Trees, And Neural Networks.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: In Addition To Technical Skills, A Data Scientist In Automotive Research At S&P Global Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills.
