Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate – US Insurance Services Ratings to join S&P Global's Ratings team. This role requires excellent knowledge of the insurance industry, as well as a deep understanding of financial analysis and ratings methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.The Associate – US Insurance Services Ratings will be responsible for performing detailed financial analysis, rating assessments, and related activities for US insurance services. They will also be a key contributor to ongoing business initiatives, including the researching of new products, capital market trends, and rating criteria.This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their career in an exciting and dynamic industry. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in an insurance services rating role. Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, are essential for this position. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed financial analysis, rating assessments, and related activities for US insurance services • Research new products, capital market trends, and rating criteria • Identify key issues and develop solutions for ratings and other business initiatives • Maintain a deep understanding of the insurance industry and financial analysis • Work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations • Provide analysis and recommendations on ratings decisions and other initiatives • Develop and maintain relationships with other team members and key stakeholders
