Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate – Structured Finance Ratings to join S&P Global Ratings. Our ideal candidate will have a proven history of success in a similar role, an aptitude for financial analysis, a passion for the industry, and a strong commitment to providing accurate ratings for structured finance clients.The successful Associate will need a minimum of three to five years of experience in structured finance rating agency operations, preferably as an Analyst. A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other related field is also required. Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit analysis, quantitative modeling, and structured finance products is essential.The successful individual will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. Our Associate must have the flexibility to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct financial analysis and credit analysis on structured finance products. -Develop quantitative models to rate structured finance products. -Maintain detailed records of structured finance ratings. -Provide accurate ratings for structured finance clients. -Maintain knowledge of current regulations in the structured finance industry. -Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals. -Communicate effectively with team members and clients. -Ensure all deadlines are met. -Manage and prioritize multiple tasks. -Implement best practices and procedures in rating structured finance products. -Provide feedback and suggestions for improving structured finance rating processes.
