Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Director of Security Automation to join our S&P Global team. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of all security automation initiatives. You will provide expertise to ensure that our technology and processes are secure, reliable, and resilient.To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in security automation, including designing, developing, and managing security automation systems. You should have a strong understanding of security best practices and the ability to analyze and understand security processes. You should also be comfortable with scripting and coding languages, such as PowerShell and Python.You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You should also have a strong passion for security, working with leading-edge technologies, and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest security trends.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced security automation professional to join a leading global organization and make a real impact on our security landscape.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop security automation systems to protect S&P Global's technology and processes.
  2. Analyze and understand security processes to ensure that they remain secure, reliable, and resilient.
  3. Create and maintain scripts and code using programming languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure effective security automation initiatives.
  5. Monitor and analyze security trends to stay up-to-date on the latest security developments.
  6. Manage and monitor security automation systems to ensure they are functioning optimally.
  7. Provide technical expertise and support for security automation initiatives.
  8. Train and mentor team members on security automation best practices.
  9. Develop and implement security policies and processes to ensure the security of the organization.
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security automation compliance.
