
Analyst, Climate and Environmental Methodology
At S&P Global, we are looking for an Analyst, Climate and Environmental Methodology who is passionate about finding solutions and taking on sustainability challenges. Our ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of the data, analytics, and research related to climate and environmental issues, as well as a strong background in project management and problem-solving.The Analyst, Climate and Environmental Methodology, will be a critical part of the team to help drive sustainability initiatives and inform decision-making on climate and environmental issues. This role will build and implement methodologies and processes to analyze and report on climate and environmental data. Working closely with stakeholders, the Analyst will play an important role in helping to develop models, assessments, and strategies to address climate and environmental challenges.To be successful in this role, the Analyst must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, economics, data science, etc.), as well as 3+ years of relevant experience in the sustainability field. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities: • Analyze climate and environmental data to develop models, assessments, and strategies to address issues • Create and implement methodologies and processes to analyze and report on climate and environmental data • Work closely with stakeholders to inform decision-making on climate and environmental issues • Identify and deliver solutions to climate and environmental challenges • Utilize strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving aptitude to support sustainability initiatives • Communicate effectively and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project goals
