- Develop and implement strategies to enhance existing programs and services at Rutgers University.
- Oversee and coordinate various programs and events, ensuring they align with the university's mission and goals.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of programs.
- Monitor and track program budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure efficient use of university funds.
- Identify and assess potential risks and challenges in program implementation and develop contingency plans.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive environment by incorporating inclusive practices and principles into program development.
- Train, supervise, and mentor program staff and volunteers to ensure a high level of performance and professionalism.
- Manage program data and maintain accurate records for reporting and evaluation purposes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to gather feedback and ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in higher education to inform program development and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote programs and events to the university community and external partners.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of program participants, including evaluating applications and conducting interviews.
- Represent Rutgers University at conferences, meetings, and other events to showcase our programs and services.
- Handle any program-related issues or concerns and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and assess program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement and growth.
- Work with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans for program development and expansion.
- Uphold the values and standards of Rutgers University in all aspects of program coordination.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and serve as a role model for students and staff.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures, including those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate programs to meet the evolving needs of our students and community.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Or Public Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination Or Project Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Complex Programs Or Initiatives, With A Track Record Of Success.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Communicate Effectively With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
