  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance existing programs and services at Rutgers University.
  2. Oversee and coordinate various programs and events, ensuring they align with the university's mission and goals.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of programs.
  4. Monitor and track program budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure efficient use of university funds.
  5. Identify and assess potential risks and challenges in program implementation and develop contingency plans.
  6. Foster a diverse and inclusive environment by incorporating inclusive practices and principles into program development.
  7. Train, supervise, and mentor program staff and volunteers to ensure a high level of performance and professionalism.
  8. Manage program data and maintain accurate records for reporting and evaluation purposes.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with students, faculty, and staff to gather feedback and ensure program relevance and effectiveness.
  10. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in higher education to inform program development and improvement.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote programs and events to the university community and external partners.
  12. Assist in the recruitment and selection of program participants, including evaluating applications and conducting interviews.
  13. Represent Rutgers University at conferences, meetings, and other events to showcase our programs and services.
  14. Handle any program-related issues or concerns and provide timely and effective solutions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and assess program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement and growth.
  16. Work with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans for program development and expansion.
  17. Uphold the values and standards of Rutgers University in all aspects of program coordination.
  18. Maintain a positive and professional attitude and serve as a role model for students and staff.
  19. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, including those related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  20. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate programs to meet the evolving needs of our students and community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Or Public Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Coordination Or Project Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Proven Ability To Develop And Implement Complex Programs Or Initiatives, With A Track Record Of Success.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Communicate Effectively With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
