1. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment throughout the university campus.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment, and promptly repair or replace faulty components.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols when working with electrical systems and equipment.
4. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules, and communicate any potential disruptions to campus operations.
5. Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and maintenance mechanics.
6. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including materials used and work completed.
7. Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical equipment and supplies, and make recommendations for necessary replacements or upgrades.
8. Respond to emergency calls and prioritize tasks based on urgency and potential impact on campus operations.
9. Stay informed of new technologies and advancements in the electrical field, and make recommendations for implementing them on campus.
10. Maintain a neat and organized work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
