Senior Database Administrator

Rutgers University is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and analytical skills, and an ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of database design and optimization.The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; 5+ years of professional experience in database administration; experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL; and knowledge of database security best practices.
