  1. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the urban farming program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support the success of the program.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and organizations to promote and expand the reach of the urban farming initiatives.
  4. Lead and supervise a team of volunteers and interns to assist with day-to-day operations of the urban farm.
  5. Develop and manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds.
  6. Plan and facilitate educational workshops and events to engage community members and promote sustainable agriculture practices.
  7. Conduct research and stay informed on best practices and innovations in urban agriculture to inform program development.
  8. Monitor and report on program outcomes and progress towards goals to inform future decision-making.
  9. Communicate regularly with program stakeholders, including community members, university faculty, and staff, to ensure alignment and support for program goals.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to promote food justice and equitable access to healthy, locally-grown food in the community.
  11. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and policies related to urban farming and ensure compliance with all necessary permits and licenses.
  12. Participate in fundraising activities to secure additional resources for the program.
  13. Serve as a spokesperson for the program and represent Rutgers University at community events and meetings.
  14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications
