- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for community members in Mercer County.
- Coordinate and collaborate with community partners to promote healthy living and wellness initiatives.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts to engage community members in nutrition education programs.
- Deliver presentations and workshops on various nutrition topics to diverse populations.
- Create and distribute educational materials, such as handouts and newsletters, to support nutrition education efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance program effectiveness.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate program impact and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of program budgets and monitor spending to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Train and supervise volunteers and interns to assist with program delivery.
- Stay up-to-date on current nutrition research and trends to inform program content.
- Attend community events and health fairs to promote the program and recruit participants.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities and participant information.
- Collaborate with other program associates and staff to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
- Adhere to all program policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and expand the program's reach and impact in the community.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Community Nutrition Programming, Preferably In Mercer County.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Nutrition Programs And Interventions.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Populations.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Data Management Software.
