Operating Engineer Apprentice

Rutgers University is seeking a dynamic and motivated Operating Engineer Apprentice to join our Facilities team. As the Operating Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to the Facilities team and will be integral in helping to ensure the smooth running of all facilities operations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, an ability to work independently, and a solid understanding of building systems and processes.To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in building maintenance or repair. You must also have a valid driver’s license and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. In addition, you should possess strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
