- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the course curriculum and learning objectives.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and promote active participation.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance and progress.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative techniques into the classroom.
- Hold regular office hours and communicate with students outside of class to provide additional support and guidance.
- Assess student learning through various methods such as exams, projects, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with students, colleagues, and university staff.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures, including academic integrity and code of conduct.
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the academic community.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting a love for learning and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop and revise course materials as needed.
- Communicate regularly with the program director and provide updates on student progress, challenges, and successes.
Master's Degree Or Higher In The Relevant Subject Area.
Previous Teaching Experience At The College Or University Level.
Knowledge Of Pedagogical Techniques And Best Practices For Teaching In A Virtual Or Hybrid Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Students And Colleagues.
Flexibility And Adaptability To Accommodate Varying Schedules And Changing Instructional Needs During The Summer Session.
