  1. Provide individualized and compassionate care to students seeking support for mental health concerns.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals to provide comprehensive services to students.
  3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the appropriate course of treatment for each student.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans based on the specific needs of each student.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions to promote mental wellness and support student success.
  6. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all services provided to students.
  7. Collaborate with campus resources and refer students to additional support services as needed.

  10. Act as a liaison between students, families, and other professionals to ensure a supportive and collaborative approach to treatment.
  11. Provide crisis intervention and support services to students in urgent or emergency situations.
  12. Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity in working with a diverse student population.
  13. Uphold ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  14. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for students seeking mental health services.
  15. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to mental health services.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with students, colleagues, and other university staff.
  17. Serve as a positive role model for students and promote mental wellness on campus.
  18. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the university's mental health services department.
  19. Continuously evaluate and improve services to meet the changing needs of students.
  20. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Providing Mental Health Services, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Possession Of A Valid Clinical License In The State Of New Jersey (E.g. Lcsw, Lpc, Lmft).

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of And Experience With A Variety Of Therapeutic Techniques And Interventions For Diverse Populations.

  • Excellent Communication, Assessment, And Crisis Management Skills.
