  1. Develop and deliver engaging lectures and educational materials for nursing students at Rutgers University.
  2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students through effective teaching techniques and strategies.
  3. Prepare and conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student learning and progress.
  4. Mentor and advise students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals in the nursing field.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices, research, and developments in the field to continuously enhance teaching materials and methods.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and enhance the nursing curriculum.
  7. Engage in scholarly activities and research to contribute to the field of nursing and enhance the university's reputation.
  8. Participate in departmental and university committees, meetings, and events.
  9. Provide guidance and support to students in their clinical placements and practical experiences.
  10. Maintain regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students.
  11. Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and university staff to ensure a smooth and productive learning experience.
  12. Adhere to university policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards in teaching and research.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and engage in ongoing self-reflection and improvement as an educator.
  14. Represent the university and the nursing department at external events and conferences to promote its mission and values.
  15. Uphold the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and mentorship.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, With A Strong Emphasis On Education And Teaching.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Registered Nurse, Preferably In A Clinical Or Academic Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Effective Teaching, Including The Ability To Engage Students And Facilitate Active Learning.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In A Specialized Area Of Nursing, Such As Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Or Community Health.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Colleagues And Mentor Students.
