  1. Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies and materials for experiments.
  3. Monitor and record experimental data accurately and efficiently.
  4. Collaborate with professors and researchers to develop and implement new experiments.
  5. Assist in the design and optimization of laboratory procedures.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during experiments.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  8. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols.
  9. Train and mentor new laboratory staff and students.
  10. Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on experimental progress.
  11. Continuously update knowledge and skills in relevant scientific areas.
  12. Contribute to the preparation of research publications and presentations.
  13. Adhere to university and department policies and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and external partners as needed.
  15. Actively contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  16. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the laboratory.
  17. Communicate effectively with team members and superiors.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of all research data and results.
  19. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or A Related Field: Candidates Should Have A Strong Foundation In Chemistry And Laboratory Techniques, Typically Obtained Through A Bachelor's Degree In Chemistry Or A Related Field.

  • Experience With Instrumentation And Lab Procedures: Laboratory Technicians Should Have Experience Working With A Variety Of Laboratory Equipment And Be Familiar With Standard Lab Procedures And Safety Protocols.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Laboratory Technician, Individuals Will Be Responsible For Conducting Experiments, Analyzing Results, And Troubleshooting Any Issues That May Arise. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Laboratory Work Requires A High Level Of Precision And Accuracy. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Results And Minimize Errors.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: Laboratory Technicians May Be Required To Work Independently On Certain Tasks, But Also Need To Be Able To Collaborate With Other Team Members, Such As Researchers And Other Technicians. The Ability To Work Well Both Independently And As Part Of A Team Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
