• Plan and implement daily activities and lessons that align with the IGNITE-Afterschool program goals and curriculum
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for students, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
• Serve as a positive role model for students, promoting positive behavior and character development
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with other facilitators and program staff to develop and implement strategies for student success
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to program coordinators and families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student attendance, behavior, and progress
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Continually assess and adapt program activities and lessons to meet the evolving needs and interests of students
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information and situations.
