Job Description

Rutgers University is seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Inspector to join our team. The Fire Inspector will be responsible for promoting fire safety on campus through proactive inspections and enforcement of fire safety codes and regulations. This person will be the primary resource for fire safety-related issues and concerns, so we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, conscientious, and detail-oriented.The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience as a Fire Inspector and is certified by the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety. We are looking for a person who understands the importance of fire safety and is committed to helping our campus community remain safe.
