
Emergency Medical Technician (Temporary)

- Provide emergency medical care to students, faculty, and staff on Rutgers University campus.
- Work closely with first responders to ensure timely and effective emergency medical services.
- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
- Administer necessary medical treatments and procedures, such as CPR and first aid.
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

- Adhere to all medical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Keep accurate records and submit reports as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

- Maintain and restock emergency medical supplies and equipment.

- Willingly work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) By The National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians (Nremt) Or Equivalent State Certification.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As An Emt In A Hospital Or Pre-Hospital Setting.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Make Critical Decisions Under Pressure.
