  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the university, in line with our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
  2. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders within the university to identify areas for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.
  3. Conduct research and stay updated on new developments and best practices in sustainability and energy management.
  4. Lead and manage a team of sustainability professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  5. Monitor and report on the university's energy consumption and carbon emissions, and develop plans to reduce them.
  6. Identify and pursue opportunities for funding and partnerships to support sustainability projects and initiatives.
  7. Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops to raise awareness and educate students, faculty, and staff on sustainable practices.
  8. Work closely with facilities management to ensure that all new construction and renovations meet sustainability standards.
  9. Serve as a liaison to community organizations and government agencies to promote sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with sustainability leaders and experts in the industry to stay informed on trends and best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Sustainability And Energy Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Initiatives And Projects.

  • A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Environmental Science, Engineering, Or Sustainability.

  • Demonstrated Leadership And Management Skills, Including Experience Managing A Team And Developing Strategic Plans.

  • Expertise In Sustainability And Energy-Related Policies, Regulations, And Best Practices, Particularly Within A Higher Education Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Engage Diverse Stakeholders And Build Partnerships Across The University And Beyond.
