
Coadjutant, non-teaching, Labor Studies and Employment Relations

- Greet and welcome students, faculty, and visitors to the Labor Studies and Employment Relations department at Rutgers University.
- Provide administrative support to the department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating department events, such as guest lectures, workshops, and conferences.
- Support faculty members in preparing course materials and maintaining online platforms.
- Conduct research and gather information on labor laws, policies, and current events related to labor and employment.
- Help maintain a diverse and inclusive environment within the department by promoting diversity and equity initiatives.
- Collaborate with other university departments and organizations to develop and implement programs and initiatives related to labor studies and employment relations.
- Serve as a resource for students, providing guidance and support on academic and personal matters related to labor and employment.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the department's curriculum and course offerings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments in the field of labor studies and employment relations.

Bachelor's Degree In Labor Studies, Employment Relations, Or A Related Field.
Experience In Labor Relations, Collective Bargaining, And/Or Contract Negotiations.
Strong Understanding Of Labor Laws And Regulations, Including Those Specific To Higher Education.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
Experience In Project Management, Event Planning, And/Or Program Coordination.
