  1. Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic interviews with potential clients.
  2. Provide individual and group therapy services to clients with trauma and substance use disorders.
  3. Administer and interpret psychological assessments for clients.
  4. Participate in ongoing research projects and assist with data collection and analysis.
  5. Attend regular team meetings and collaborate with other team members on treatment plans.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current research and evidence-based treatments for trauma and addiction.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of specialized treatment interventions.
  9. Provide consultation and training to other staff members and interns.
  10. Participate in outreach and community engagement activities to promote the fellowship program.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of services.
  12. Attend regular supervision meetings with licensed professionals.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse populations.
  14. Represent the fellowship program at professional conferences and events.
  15. Engage in self-reflection and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

  • Phd Or Psyd In Clinical Psychology Or Related Field From An Apa-Accredited Program: This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed A Rigorous Doctoral Program With A Focus On Clinical Psychology, Providing A Strong Foundation In Psychological Theory And Research.

  • Training And Experience In Treating Individuals With Traumatic Stress And Addiction Disorders: This Position Requires Specialized Knowledge And Experience In Treating Individuals With Co-Occurring Traumatic Stress And Addiction Disorders. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Treatments For These Conditions.

  • Licensure Or License-Eligible In The State Of New Jersey: Candidates Should Be Licensed Or License-Eligible In The State Of New Jersey, Demonstrating Their Ability To Practice Independently And Adhere To State Regulations.

  • Strong Research Background And Publication Record: The Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowship At Rutgers University Places A Strong Emphasis On Research, And Candidates Should Have A Demonstrated Record Of Conducting And Publishing Research In The Areas Of Traumatic Stress And Addiction.
