Job Description

At Rutgers University, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Business Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support, as well as managing our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of business processes and financial operations. To be successful in this role, you must have an interest in working in a collegiate environment and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; at least 3 years of business operations experience; comprehensive knowledge of business processes, accounting principles, and financial operations; experience with data analysis and budgeting; and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet and accounting software. In addition, strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as with a team.
