  5. Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers within the university and beyond, fostering a culture of interdisciplinary and innovative research.
  6. Engage in service activities within the department and university, such as reviewing manuscripts and grant proposals, organizing academic events, and participating in outreach and community engagement initiatives.
  7. Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of social psychology, continuously updating course materials and incorporating new findings into research projects.
  8. Maintain a strong record of scholarly productivity, including securing external funding and grants to support research endeavors.
  9. Foster a diverse and inclusive learning and research environment, promoting equity and social justice in all aspects of teaching, research, and service.
  10. Represent the university and the department at professional conferences and events, promoting the institution's reputation and contributing to its academic standing.

Job Qualifications
  • Ph.d. In Social Psychology Or Related Field: A Candidate For This Position Should Hold A Doctoral Degree In Social Psychology Or A Closely Related Field, Such As Behavioral Sciences Or Sociology. This Degree Should Be From A Reputable University And Demonstrate A Strong Background In Social Psychology Research And Theory.

  • Demonstrated Teaching Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Experience Teaching Undergraduate And Graduate Courses In Social Psychology. This Includes Developing Course Material, Delivering Lectures, And Engaging Students In Discussions And Projects. Previous Experience Teaching At The University Level Is Preferred.

  • Active Research Agenda: This Position Requires A Candidate With A Strong Research Agenda In Social Psychology. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Publishing In Reputable Journals And Presenting At Conferences. They Should Also Have The Potential To Secure External Funding For Their Research.

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Research Methods: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Research Methods Commonly Used In Social Psychology, Such As Experimental Design, Survey Methods, And Statistical Analysis. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Teach These Methods To Students.
