Proposal Development Internship
The Proposal Development Intern will assist proposal teams who support multiple efforts across the Social, Statistical, and Environmental Sciences Business Unit at RTI. The Intern will obtain a broad understanding of proposal development operations in various stages of business development, working closely with RTI Proposal and Capture Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Financial Analysts, and Contract Negotiators. Compile and review documentation for compliance in proposal submission(s) to a variety of clients including federal and state government, commercial firms, and foundations. Archive proposal submission documents; organize and facilitate post submission internal debrief meetings.
Graduate student, recent degree recipient, Junior or Senior underdgraduate currently enrolled in a 4-year university
Ability to multitask and work independently as well as with team members to collectively meet proposal deadlines
Exceptional problem solving, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written), as well as attention to detail
