Job Description

This position will work closely with other project management team members and provide a wide range of financial and operational project and proposal support tasks. Leading project operations activities within IE’s portfolio, from project start-up to closeout. Advanced daily oversight and coordination of complex activities for 1-2 projects. Mentoring and support to junior operations staff. Responsible for internal and external financial reporting. Monitoring and analysis of cost performance. Collaborate with other project management team members to identify and mitigate risks. Responsible for leading and managing start-up and closeout processes. Developing and maintaining project management schedules, work plans, and other general project management resources and tools. Establishing and maintaining financial tracking tools and budgets, monitoring expenses and helping to design and implement strategies that address financial performance issues and help to identify risk.

Job Qualifications
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in project administration, such as reviewing invoices, contracts, and financial data

  • USAID or other international donor program management experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to capture and proposal development processes to secure external funding.

  • Experience coordinating multiple and competing priorities across multiple time zones.

  • Proven ability to interact effectively with team members, partners, corporate clients, and donors.

Compensation
