Job Description

Welcome to RSM US, a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Technology Risk Consulting Associate. As part of our risk consulting practice, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients to assess and manage their technology-related risks. Your knowledge and expertise in information security, data privacy, and IT governance will be critical in helping our clients navigate the ever-evolving technology landscape.   1. Conduct risk assessments: Perform thorough evaluations of clients' technology systems and processes to identify potential areas of risk and develop strategies for mitigation.
  2. Develop risk management plans: Collaborate with clients to create customized risk management plans that address their specific technology-related risks and align with their overall business objectives.
  3. Provide expertise in information security: Utilize your knowledge of information security best practices to advise clients on ways to protect their sensitive data and mitigate cyber threats.
  4. Advise on data privacy: Stay up-to-date on data privacy regulations and assist clients in complying with relevant laws, such as GDPR and CCPA.
  5. Offer guidance on IT governance: Help clients establish effective IT governance structures and processes to ensure their technology operations are aligned with their overall business goals.
  6. Work directly with clients: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique technology risk challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  7. Stay current on industry trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide clients with the most relevant and up-to-date guidance.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations: Prepare and deliver reports to clients outlining your risk assessments, findings, and recommendations for risk mitigation.
  9. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other team members to leverage their expertise and ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management for clients.
  10. Continuously improve processes: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and enhancement of our risk consulting methodologies and tools.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Systems, Computer Science, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Methodologies.

  • Experience With Technology Risk Assessments, It Audits, And/Or Internal Controls.

  • Proficiency In Industry Standard Frameworks Such As Coso, Cobit, And Nist.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Clients And Team Members.
