  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial services and asset management industry.
  2. Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and exceptional client service.
  3. Stay current on tax laws and regulations related to the financial services and asset management industry and effectively communicate any changes or updates to the team.
  4. Prepare and review tax returns and other compliance documents for clients.
  5. Conduct research and provide technical expertise on complex tax issues.
  6. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide strategic tax planning advice.
  7. Collaborate with other departments within the company to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  8. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of tax services.
  9. Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.
  10. Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of tax services.
  11. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the engagement.
  12. Participate in business development activities to expand the client base and promote the company's services.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  14. Represent the company in a positive manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations Related To The Financial Services And Asset Management Industries, Including Experience With Investment Partnerships, Private Equity, And Hedge Funds.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Tax Planning And Compliance For Financial Services And Asset Management Clients, With At Least 3-5 Years In A Managerial Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Statements And The Ability To Provide Strategic Tax Advice To Clients Based On Their Unique Financial Situations.

  • Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Tax Professionals And Oversee Multiple Client Engagements.

  • Cpa Certification And A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting Or Related Field, With A Focus On Taxation Or Financial Services. Additional Certifications Such As Cfa Or Cfp May Be Preferred.
