We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team and lead our Sales and Use Tax Automation practice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients and utilize your expertise in sales and use tax compliance to drive efficiency and accuracy through automation.   1. Lead and manage the Sales and Use Tax Automation practice at RSM US.
  2. Utilize expertise in sales and use tax compliance to develop and implement efficient and accurate automation processes.
  3. Work closely with a diverse group of clients to understand their business needs and provide effective solutions.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and continued partnership with the firm.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to sales and use tax compliance and automation.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of automation processes.
  7. Train and mentor team members on sales and use tax compliance and automation procedures.
  8. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients on improving their tax compliance processes through automation.
  9. Monitor and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential risks for clients.
  10. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of sales and use tax automation processes.
  11. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on sales and use tax compliance and automation, both internally and externally.
  13. Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to showcase our expertise in tax automation.
  14. Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide a holistic approach to client needs.
  15. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales And Use Tax Compliance And Automation.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Tax Laws, Regulations, And Compliance Requirements.

  • Experience In Managing And Implementing Tax Automation Software, Such As Avalara Or Vertex.

  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Communication Skills.
