If so, RSM US is seeking a Tax Manager with a strong background in M&A to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in providing strategic tax planning and consulting services to our clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and other related transactions. We are looking for someone with a keen attention to detail, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex tax laws and regulations.   1. Develop and implement tax strategies for clients involved in mergers, acquisitions, and other related transactions.
  2. Conduct thorough analysis and review of client financial information to identify potential tax implications.
  3. Advise clients on tax implications of proposed business transactions and provide recommendations for tax-efficient structures.
  4. Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations related to mergers and acquisitions and communicate these changes to clients.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax strategies align with overall business goals.
  6. Lead and manage a team of tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax services.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  8. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide insightful solutions to clients.
  9. Prepare and review tax filings and documentation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Participate in business development activities and assist in identifying potential new clients.
  11. Mentor and train junior tax professionals on tax planning and consulting best practices.
  12. Maintain organization and accuracy of client files and documentation.
  13. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects.
  14. Adhere to professional and ethical standards in all interactions with clients and team members.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline tax processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations Related To Mergers And Acquisitions, Including An Understanding Of The Tax Implications Of Different Transaction Structures.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Address Tax Issues And Risks In Complex M&A Deals.

  • Experience In Leading And Managing Tax Due Diligence, Including Reviewing Financial Statements And Tax Returns, And Identifying Potential Tax Issues And Opportunities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Communicate Complex Tax Concepts To Non-Tax Professionals And Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Cpa Certification And A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Tax, With A Focus On M&A Transactions, Preferably In A Public Accounting Firm Or Corporate Tax Department.
