- Lead and manage the Finance Automation team, providing direction, guidance, and support to team members.
- Spearhead the implementation and optimization of the BlackLine platform, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes.
- Strategize and develop plans to drive automation and efficiency within the finance industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in finance automation, incorporating best practices into team strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Provide training and support to team members and end-users on the BlackLine platform.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with finance automation processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the BlackLine platform and provide guidance and support to team members and end-users.
- Continuously assess and improve processes and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the Finance Automation team and its achievements.
Strong Understanding Of Blackline Software And Its Capabilities: A Supervisor - Finance Automation (Blackline) At Rsm Us Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Blackline Software And Its Functionalities. They Should Be Able To Leverage The Software To Automate Finance Processes, Improve Workflow Efficiency And Provide Valuable Insights To Clients.
Extensive Experience In Finance And Accounting: A Strong Background In Finance And Accounting Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Finance Or Accounting Role, With A Focus On Process Improvement And Automation.
