• Lead and manage the State and Local Tax (SALT) M&A team at RSM US, providing strategic guidance and solutions to clients in their M&A transactions
• Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in SALT to assist clients in navigating complex tax issues and ensure compliance with state and local tax laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with other departments and teams within the firm to provide comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients
• Stay updated on changes and updates in SALT laws and regulations and educate clients on potential implications and opportunities for their businesses
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and assist in developing tax strategies for clients' M&A transactions
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to help them grow and excel in their roles
• Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and promoting RSM's services and expertise in SALT and M&A
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and developing new client relationships, to drive growth and expand the firm's SALT M&A practice
• Ensure high-quality work and timely delivery of services to clients, meeting and exceeding their expectations
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
