- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth for the SALT Sales and Use Tax team.
- Lead and manage a team of sales tax professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SALT regulations to advise clients and ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in SALT regulations, and effectively communicate these updates to the team.
- Collaborate with other departments within RSM US to identify cross-selling opportunities and support the overall growth of the firm.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the SALT industry to generate new business and increase visibility for the team.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients on complex SALT matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
Extensive Knowledge Of State And Local Tax Laws: A Senior Manager In Salt Sales And Use Tax At Rsm Us Must Have A Deep Understanding Of The Complex And Ever-Changing State And Local Tax Laws To Effectively Advise Clients And Navigate Compliance Issues.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Will Involve Managing A Team Of Sales And Use Tax Professionals, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential To Effectively Guide And Motivate Team Members.
