- Lead and oversee the Regulatory Compliance practice at RSM US, ensuring the team delivers high-quality and effective risk consulting services to clients.
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the practice, setting clear goals and objectives for the team to achieve.
- Utilize your expertise in regulatory compliance to provide guidance and support to clients, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments and mitigate potential risks.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and trends, and proactively identify potential risks that may impact clients' businesses.
- Manage and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Collaborate with other Managing Directors and practice leaders to develop cross-functional solutions and drive business growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their compliance requirements.
- Develop and manage budgets for the practice, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business goals.
- Act as a thought leader and promote the regulatory compliance practice both internally and externally through speaking engagements, publications, and industry events.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: As A Risk Consulting Managing Director, The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Ever-Evolving Regulatory Environment And Be Able To Effectively Interpret And Apply Regulations To Clients' Specific Industries.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Teams. This Includes The Ability To Mentor And Develop Staff, Delegate Tasks And Responsibilities, And Make Strategic Decisions.
Extensive Experience In Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, With A Focus On Regulatory Compliance. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Providing Guidance On Compliance-Related Issues.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Risk Consulting Managing Director Requires Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. The Candidate Should Also Have The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Stakeholders At All Levels.
Advanced Degree And Relevant Certifications: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Finance, Or Law Is Typically Required For This Role. In Addition, Relevant Certifications Such As Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (Crcm) Or Certified Risk Manager (Crm) May Be Preferred By Some Employers.
