  1. Assist with conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of risk for clients.
  2. Review and analyze client's internal control processes and procedures.
  3. Develop recommendations for improving internal controls and mitigating risks.
  4. Collaborate with team members to create and implement risk management strategies for clients.
  5. Conduct research and gather data to support risk management initiatives.
  6. Assist with preparing presentations and reports for clients.
  7. Attend client meetings and participate in discussions regarding risk management and control strategies.
  8. Learn and utilize industry-specific software and tools to support risk management projects.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to risk management and controls.
  11. Support the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
  13. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed.
  14. Represent RSM US in a professional manner and uphold the firm's values and standards.
  15. Continuously seek learning and growth opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of risk management and consulting.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Evaluate Risks Associated With Business Processes And Controls. They Should Be Able To Gather And Interpret Data To Make Informed Recommendations For Improvement.

  • Knowledge Of Accounting And Auditing Principles: A Solid Understanding Of Accounting And Auditing Principles Is Essential For This Role. The Intern Should Be Familiar With Financial Statements, Internal Controls, And Risk Assessment Methodologies.

  • Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role As The Intern Will Be Working With Various Teams And Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Communicate Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner, Both Verbally And In Writing.
