  1. Lead a team of penetration testers to conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for clients' systems and networks.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive penetration testing methodology and procedures.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively identify potential risks for clients.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement effective security measures and controls.
  5. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on penetration test findings.
  6. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in penetration testing.
  7. Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  8. Communicate with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide tailored solutions.
  9. Continuously improve and optimize penetration testing processes and techniques.
  10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools in the field of cybersecurity to enhance testing capabilities.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive information obtained during testing.
  12. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on testing activities and results.
  13. Conduct post-incident reviews to identify and address any gaps in security measures.
  14. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance penetration testing capabilities.
  15. Represent the company at industry conferences and events to stay updated on the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Penetration Testing: A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Conducting Successful Penetration Tests In Various Environments And Industries. This Includes Experience With Network, Web Application, Mobile, And Social Engineering Testing.

  • Strong Technical Skills: A Penetration Tester Manager Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems, Networking Protocols, And Security Tools. They Should Also Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Python, Ruby, And Sql.

  • Leadership And Management Abilities: The Manager Should Have Experience Leading And Managing A Team Of Penetration Testers, As Well As Coordinating With Other Departments And Stakeholders. They Should Also Possess Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills.

  • Industry Certifications: A Qualified Candidate Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Certified Ethical Hacker (Ceh), Offensive Security Certified Professional (Oscp), Or Giac Penetration Tester (Gpen).

  • Knowledge Of Compliance And Regulatory Requirements: The Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Compliance And Regulatory Frameworks Such As Pci Dss, Hipaa, And Gdpr. They Should Also Be Familiar With Security Standards Such As Iso 27001 And Nist.
